Hi my name is Janice.

Having spent thirty years in the hospitality and event management world and after rearing my three sons and a menagerie of animals with my husband Stephen, I started my dream career of being a celebrant.

I started on this journey after fining it difficult to find someone to perform my grandmother’s funeral in accordance with her wishes. I knew that there had to be a better way to deal with a family at their most vulnerable moment in life. Someone to listen, and fulfil peoples’ requests and wishes.

I initially trained with the Irish Institute of Celebrants and was privileged to be chosen to be a celebrant / solemniser with Entheos, whose core belief of love and inclusion ties in with my beliefs, that love is love!

I now perform all kinds of ceremonies around the country seven days a week, literally from welcoming you into this world to leaving it, and all the beautiful milestones in between.

I love to perform weddings, finding the perfect reading or poem and of course telling the couple’s own love story to their friends and family. Children and furbabies are always welcome at my ceremonies to make it a day of fun, laughter and joy.
