Born in Dublin, but with very strong family connections to the West of Ireland, I now live in Ennis, Co Clare with my husband, two children and two dogs.

I really love when people ask me why I decided to be a celebrant. If you had told me 8 years ago I would be living in Ennis, running my own company and working as a celebrant, I would have laughed (in excitement at the prospect :)). It’s been such a fun few years training to be a celebrant, setting up Coastal Ceremonies, officiating ceremonies for the most fabulous people and working with amazing wedding planners and suppliers. I love telling stories, love meeting people and love family celebrations so therefore I really have the dream job. To be a part of someone’s special day and helping couple’s and families create lasting memories is an honour and to see couples saying “I do” at the end of the ceremony is literally the “icing on the cake”. I love working with couples and families to make their day that bit more special and really personal to them. A day that will be remembered forever.

I officiate legal and symbolic wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, baby naming and milestone ceremonies. You can often find me officiating ceremonies on the Cliffs of Moher or the many wonderful locations and venues around Co. Clare. I would love to chat with you about your upcoming ceremony. Clara x
