As an Infant teacher, I was privileged to be there for many children’s first experience in early childhood education. I laughed with them, cried with them and grew as a person with them. I met so many different personalities and have followed some of their stories into adulthood. Making up stories was a huge part of each day.

When it came time for me to reinvent myself, why change what worked all my life…I became a Celebrant so that I could be there to help couples plan the most important day of their lives. I would laugh with them, cry with them and aim to craft the ceremony that they have dreamed of. Being part of their day gives me so much pleasure and I am so grateful for each opportunity.

I am based in Cork but willing to travel. With my colleague, Virginia Barrett, we trade as MVCeremonies.

My training with Entheos led me to the world of Funeral Celebrant and, when I walked into the Crematorium for the first time, I felt at home. I cannot describe the depth of the honour it is to be there for a family during such a sad time.
