About

Hi, Katie Quigley or is mise Cáit, your local community celebrant here. My pronouns are she/her. I am from Tipperary but I have found my tribe in beautiful Galway.

I am not only your local community celebrant, I am a lyme disease and endo warrior and advocate. My mission in life has always been to help people. I hope that through my work as a celebrant I can help people to see that it is through the broken parts of them that the light can get through.

I am someone who likes to colour outside the lines. My happy place is surrounded by trees. I get a lot of my ideas from spending time in nature. I love stories and folklore, especially stories about the fairies because the world needs more magic. I practice mindfulness and use it in ceremonies to make sure everyone is able to be fully present for the ceremony. Ceremonies are constantly changing and I believe you can honour older traditions by re-imagining them. I also believe it is important to create new traditions and forge your own path. I have a hidden disability so it is extremely important to me that all of the ceremonies I hold are accessible to everyone.

In my spare time I love gardening, arts and crafts, knitting, dancing, practising yoga, reading books and writing. I  am very passionate about making a difference in the world, so I volunteer with several charities in Ireland and internationally.

If you are interested in working with me please feel free to reach out.
